I briefly mentioned that Best Buy is offering a free SteeBook case with your purchase of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in my previous post. At the time, I couldn’t find a picture of it but here it is now:
I wasn’t at all interested in getting this game until I saw this stupidly clever SteelBook. Han in Carbonite just makes sense. And it’s free with the game? Why would you buy the game anywhere else? Kind of a no-brainer and even if I don’t ever put the disc in, at least I’ll have this cool display case. This may rank right near the top as one of the best SteelBook cases ever, along the likes of Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition for Nintendo 3DS and Link’s Awakening Limited Edition for Switch.
The picture makes it look like Han is actually a relief off of the cover, but it is most likely just a a well printed graphic. It would be absolute bonkers if it was an actual relief.
The SteelBook case is exclusively available at Best Buy. It will automatically be added to your cart when you pre-order any Standard ($59.99) or Deluxe Edition ($69.99) of the game for Switch, PS4, PS5, or Xbox One (click through, make a purchase and you’ll be supporting our site). The game is confirmed for Xbox Series X too but I can’t seem to find a link for it on the Best Buy site. The release date has been pushed back to Spring 2021.
