Nintendo revealed a Direct Mini: Partner Showcase earlier this morning highlighting some upcoming games. The list is below:
KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory
Unique to the Switch version is an 8-player local multiplayer free-for-all mode. There’s also a new story chapter but the way it was worded, I’m not sure if it’s unique to Switch or not.
KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory will be available on November 13th with a pre-purchase option available today.
FUSER
I still don’t know how to actually play this game. They kinda blow through any kind of mechanics and the impression I get is that all you can do is send emojis.
FUSER will be available Fall 2020.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack
No word of a drum peripheral. I probably would have been all in in that case.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack will be available Winter 2020.
World of Tanks Blitz
World of Tanks Blitz is a free-to-play mobile game that’s transitioning to Switch. It’s available right now and if you log in before September 9th, you’ll get a free gift that includes a T2 Medium tank, 3 days of premium account access, 1000 gold (in-game currency), and an exclusive avatar.
Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions
It would have been pretty great if Little Mac was included as a fighter.
Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions will be available Spring 2021.
COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND
Final Fantasy Legend I, II, and III are coming to Switch in collection. Some quality of life improvements were injected into this port, but otherwise you’ll experience the same 8-bit greatness from the Game Boy games including the monochrome green screen.
COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND will be available on December 15 with a per-purchase option available right now.
Just Dance 2021
There’s a co-op mode where you can dance as a group. I never played a Just Dance game so I don’t know if this is new or not. It feels new.
Just Dance 2021 will be available November 12.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2
Looks more of the same to be honest.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 will be available December 8.

- Minecraft Dungeions Creeping Winter DLC will be available in September.
- Jump Force Deluxe Edition will be available August 28. A local tag team mode is exclusive to Switch.
- CAPTAIN TSUBASA: RISE OF NEW CHAMPIONS is an arcade soccer game and will also be available on August 28th. You can pre-purchase it right now.
- FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition will be available August 27. I don’t know what the big deal is about this game. I gave it a go when it appeared on the GameCube and it got so tiresome to venture out, battle some monsters, and then head back into town. Over and over again. And over again. It was so mind-numbingly repetitive. Maybe I was playing it wrong I don’t know but I did not enjoy it.
These minis are pretty great because they sprinkle in a variety of things that appeal to a variety of gamers. And we all need something to look forward to, don’t we? Except Eric.
